PHYSICAL THEATRE AND CLOWNING WORKSHOP
WITH SARAH JOHNSON
Thursday 12 November 2020
Online via Zoom
Sarah will combine the art of clowning with physical theatre in this practical workshop that will explore gesture, movement and creating a story from the smallest moment.
Zoom meeting details and guidelines will be sent out the day before the event.
Sarah is co-founder of Limbik Theatre, producer and performer. Limbik makes new theatre in physical and digital space. They explore epic environments that hide intimate stories: from the ocean, the wild west, to an ICU ward. The Company’s latest work combines immersive technology with live performance: storytelling with VR, projection and ambisonic sound.
Sarah studied at Edinburgh University and at LISPA in London with Tomas Prakti, former director of the Lecoq school in Paris. She currently teaches at Norwich Theatre and has a specialist interest in clown and mask.
